Kevin, Julie and their sons, Ethan and Tyler, make their home in the Southeast, where Kevin is employed as a town administrator and Julie is a stay-at-home mom. Kevin also serves as a part time associate pastor with a primary focus on the church youth group and the minister of music. Desirous of sharing their love and their home with children, God led Kevin and Julie down the path of domestic adoption. In June of 2005, the Lord blessed them by introducing Ethan, then four months old, into the family. In 2007, the Lord added Tyler, then 14 days old, to their family. Armed with a heart for the Lord and a passion for adoption borne from a personal journey, Kevin joined The ABBA Fund team in the fall of 2005. Julie now serves as the primary contact between ABBA Fund and applicants, and Kevin assists with the development and implementation of church adoption loan funds. You can contact Kevin at kevin@abbafund.org or Julie at julie@abbafund.org or call 888-775-3422

Beverly is first a very blessed adopted child of God, then a wife of over 24 years to Kip, a mother to four great kids ranging in age from 22 to 1, and a self-employed CPA. God has been growing a passion in me for children needing families for over 10 years now. It began with the loss of our baby Rebecca 11 years ago, which led us to consider adoption. During a long period of time trying to adopt from Romania, God showed us the magnitude of the need for Christian adoptive homes for children around the world and in our own county. In 2007, we became foster parents and God blessed us with Katelyn who we adopted in 2008. During our pursuit of adopting from Romania, God also burdened us with the need to help families financially with adoption expenses. That is why I feel so blessed to be able to use my accounting skills to be involved with the ABBA Fund. You can contact Beverly at beverly@abbafund.org.

After serving in the Air Force for a number of years, David went to study at Moody Bible Institute to prepare for full-time ministry. He & Shelly enjoyed ministering to student families there and after graduation he spent most of the next 8 years serving the Lord as a pastor in rural ND. It was during that time that the Lord stirred in their hearts, as well as their 3 sons about the needs of children that had no family. With the help of the ABBA Fund they were able to answer God's call and adopt their daughter Naomi from the USA. Their passion for orphans grew and next they were on a journey to bring home their daughter Maleah from Ethiopia. It was during this adoption that the Lord began preparing theirs hearts for a change in ministry.
They recently left their home in ND and returned to their home state of IL where they serve as Midwest Regional Representatives for the ABBA Fund. David & Shelly have a huge passion to help families realize that with God's help, adoption can become a reality, even if financial obstacles are in the way. They also desire to help the church to hear God's heart for the fatherless.
Both David and Shelly are available to speak, lead workshops. You may contact the Roberts at roberts@abbafund.org.
