The story behind MercyFound Ministries is one that speaks loudly and clearly of God’s good and sovereign plans. Truly, we could not make up the story of our formation even if we tried!
The three of us – Stephanie, Melissa, and Sophia – met through various adoption connections while each of us were in-process to adopt from Russia. Through a series of providential conversations, the three of us realized that we shared a deep burden and vision for orphan advocacy and adoptive family support. Excited about our shared passions and vision, the three of us continued to connect, chat, and pray. From there, the Lord impressed upon our hearts the vision for MercyFound Ministries – a ministry dedicated to advocating for orphans and supporting adoptive families financially and emotionally.
Our deep and genuine prayer is that God would use this ministry and fund to grow more families through adoption, and that through MercyFound’s work and support of adoptive families, many more eyes would be opened to the gift and picture of the gospel that adoption is.
MercyFound Ministries believes that, “In you, the orphan finds mercy.” (Hosea 14:3b) In response to this truth, MercyFound Ministries’ desire is to see the fatherless brought into Christ centered homes where they will hear the gospel and grow in the truth and knowledge of Him.
We exist to walk alongside Christian adoptive families by offering financial support through matching grants and emotional support through Christ centered community during and after the adoption journey.
We pray that through our efforts, and in God’s mercy, we will make a difference – one forever family at a time.
