Campidilli Family Adoption

Our decision to adopt was covered in lots of prayer and seeking God’s will. We took Ephesians 6:18, And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord’s people, to heart on this matter.

We have three happy, healthy, biological boys. We have the ability to have more biological children. Our desire is to have a daughter. We just assumed we would have a biological daughter, but God had different plans for us. We felt God laid the adoption decision on our hearts as a parallel to how we are adopted into his family. We applied through Lifeline Children Services, but did not narrow down a country for a few months. We just really were not sure what country to choose. Through lots of prayer, God led us to China as our country.

We are adopting a two-year-old girl with minor medical needs. We knew this girl was going to be our daughter from the moment we saw her picture. We inquired about her file and had a few set backs, but ended up being matched with her. She had many physical and behavioral characteristics that matched our three boys. We just knew she would fit right in with our family. She is our daughter. We cannot wait to bring her home!

Our adoption journey has been an amazing one! God has shown up and provided in many ways we never thought possible. He has truly given us more than we could ask for or ever imagine. Our process has been Ephesians 3:20 in action, “Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us.”  We have so many amazing stories that could have only been orchestrated by God!

We know because we followed His will for our life, Matthew 7:7, “Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you”, has proven true for us. Everything we have asked for his been given as just the right time! We are asking that if He stirs your heart for our adoption, that you would join us by supporting our efforts in prayer and financially as God leads.

Our adoption journey is not over, but we are so excited to be where we are in the process. Our boys are so excited to get to bring a sister home through adoption. They accept her as their sister. We have conversations about her every day. They tell everyone they know or don’t know yet about our adoption. We all just can’t wait to meet our girl and be a family of six!

The IRS allows donors to state a preference of how their contribution is used and request that the gift support a particular family — and it allows the charitable organization (ABBA Fund) to fully consider that request as long as the donor understands and acknowledges for charitably given tax-deductible gifts that the ultimate authority regarding the disposition of your gift is at the discretion of the charitable organization. By using this online form, or other method described above, you are acknowledging an understanding of those IRS guidelines.

As required by IRS regulations, any tax-deductible donation is made to the charitable organization (ABBA Fund) and not the individual (family) — otherwise it is a non-deductible gift and should be given directly to the family. Every gift into the Christian Family Adoption Grant Fund is helping reduce the financial burden of adoption for families that have qualified for adoption assistance from ABBA Fund.

ABBA Fund is grateful for each donation given to the Christian Family Adoption Grant Fund, and broad participation in the fund helps ensure that ABBA Fund is able to assist each approved family with the grant and loan funds preferenced to reduce the financial burden of their adoption. ABBA Fund, a 501(c)(3) ministry, has provided more than $5.7 million in grants and interest-free loans to help 979 orphans become sons and daughters in 854 Christian families since 2004 (as of early 2015) — with more adoptions being assisted every month.
