Team Joe – Joe Wayne Jackson Fund

The Joe Wayne Jackson Fund

Joe Wayne Jackson (1946-2004)

Joe Jackson was a wonderful father and grandfather. The Joe Wayne Jackson Fund honors his legacy by providing interest-free loans to help Christian families adopt — dozens of orphans are now sons & daughters in loving, nurturing Christian families through assistance provided by this fund. As these families pay back their interest-free loans, additional families are assisted with more interest-free loans. You can be part of Team Joe and this ongoing legacy to help Christian families adopt by giving a tax-deductible gift using the online donation form below.

Joe was instrumental in the development and served as the Director of DuPont’s Motorsports Program. His entire 36 year DuPont career was spent in the Automotive Refinish business. Joe married Jan Langston in October of 1974. Their children are Jeff Jackson and his wife Amy, and daughter Jayne White and her husband Jason. Joe’s grandsons, Jackson and Christopher, were absolutely his greatest delight!

On October 24, 2004 Joe Jackson was aboard a flight that went down on its way to a NASCAR race in Martinsville, Virginia. There were no survivors. This Joe Wayne Jackson Fund was established by Jan Jackson in memory of her husband. Joe was born in Charleston, SC and raised in Charlotte, NC, Joe was a 1968 graduate of The Citadel. He also served his country as a helicopter pilot in the U.S. Army in Vietnam.

Joe’s sense of humor and infectious laugh were legendary… his faith in Christ unwavering. What a blessing, joy, and precious legacy in Joe’s memory to help provide the opportunity for children to be adopted into the eternal family of God as a result of being adopted into loving Christian homes!
