Mason Family Adoption

Thank you for joining us on this remarkable and gifted journey of adoption!

In January 2012 we began our first adoption. A completely new road for us and one that God had many plans for! Within one month of finalizing our homestudy, we received a match for a child who would be born in two weeks! While our hearts were overwhelmed with joy and excitment, we would soon find out on the day of delivery the birth mother would choose a plan to parent. While we still prayerfully support that birth mother, our hearts were hurting. Yet, we trusted God was in control and knew He had the perfect plan!

Nearly a month later we were matched again with a beautiful girl! We were amazed at God’s provision in meeting our needs, mending our hearts, and once again bringing pure joy to our family. Immediately we began to make plans to travel when all action was halted as we learned we would not be able to adopt this beautiful, precious child. As much of a disappointment it was, we knew God’s plan was not yet fulfilled and that He would provide our family as a forever family to a child in need.

Looking back we now understand how perfect God’s plan truly was! For on the day of our second match fell through, was the day our daughter, Moriah, was born! We welcomed this amazing blessing into our lives on June 19, 2012!

God has taught us so much along this journey and has given our family the foundation to once again call us to adopt. We are honored to be able to live out this picture of the Gospel through adoption (James 1:27).

We are working with God’s Children Adoption Agency in adopting domestic infant. We are anxious to see how God will work through our lives again along this journey but foremost are thrilled to see how He will be glorified through our next adoption.

We hope you will prayerfully consider joining our family along through prayer, encouragement, and if lead, a donation to help offset financial needs to provide a child with a forever family.

We cannot thank you enough for the love and support you offer and pray you are blessed through answering the call to care for orphans.

**AN IMPORTANT CLARIFICATION FROM ABBA FUND ABOUT YOUR DONATION**
Using the online form on this page automatically submits a request to preference your gift to the family profiled on this page as part of ABBA Fund’s Christian Family Adoption Grant Fund. ABBA Fund administers this fund and maintains full control and administration of all donated funds. We also strive to honor our donor’s preference requests in accordance with IRS and Evangelical Council for Financial Accountability (ECFA) guidelines.

As required by IRS regulations, any tax-deductible donation is made to the charitable organization (ABBA Fund) and not the individual (family) — otherwise it is a non-deductible gift and should be given directly to the family.

Every gift into the Christian Family Adoption Grant Fund is helping reduce the financial burden of adoption for families that have qualified for support from ABBA Fund — including the family listed above in their online Family Adoption Fund profile.

The IRS allows donors to state a preference of how their contribution is used and request that the gift support a particular family — and it allows the charitable organization (ABBA Fund) to fully consider that request as long as the donor understands and acknowledges for charitably given tax-deductible gifts that the ultimate authority regarding the disposition of your gift is at the discretion of the charitable organization. By using this online form, or other method described above, you are acknowledging an understanding of those IRS guidelines.

ABBA Fund is grateful for each donation given to the Christian Family Adoption Grant Fund, and broad participation in the fund helps ensure that ABBA Fund is able to assist each approved family with the grant and loan funds preferenced to reduce the financial burden of their adoption.

ABBA Fund, a 501(c)(3) ministry, has provided more than $5.4 million in grants and interest-free loans to help 972 orphans become sons and daughters in loving, nurturing homes through assistance to 827 Christian families since 2004 (as of fall 2014) — with more adoptions being assisted every month.
